Targum sobre Deuteronómio 8:5
וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ עִם־לְבָבֶ֑ךָ כִּ֗י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר יְיַסֵּ֥ר אִישׁ֙ אֶת־בְּנ֔וֹ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ מְיַסְּרֶֽךָּ׃
Reconoce asimismo en tu corazón, que como castiga el hombre á su hijo, así SEÑOR tu Dios te castiga.

But you know with the thoughts of your hearts, that as a man regardeth his child, so the Lord your God hath regarded you.
