Targum sobre Jonás 3:6
וַיִּגַּ֤ע הַדָּבָר֙ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶך נִֽינְוֵ֔ה וַיָּ֙קָם֙ מִכִּסְא֔וֹ וַיַּעֲבֵ֥ר אַדַּרְתּ֖וֹ מֵֽעָלָ֑יו וַיְכַ֣ס שַׂ֔ק וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב עַל־הָאֵֽפֶר׃
Y llegó el negocio hasta el rey de Nínive, y levantóse de su silla, y echó de sí su vestido, y cubrióse de saco, y se sentó sobre ceniza.
Targum Jonathan on Jonah
And the word reached before the king of Nineveh,1Some texts say: “before the Pharaoh who was king in those days in Nineveh,” and he got up from his royal throne and removed his valuable clothes and from him and covered himself in sackcloth and sat on ashes.
