דָּבַ֨ק לְשׁ֥וֹן יוֹנֵ֛ק אֶל־חכּ֖וֹ בַּצָּמָ֑א עֽוֹלָלִים֙ שָׁ֣אֲלוּ לֶ֔חֶם פֹּרֵ֖שׂ אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם׃ (ס)
La lengua del niño de pecho se le pega al paladar de sed; los niños piden pan, y nadie se lo parte.
Aramaic Targum to Lamentations
The tongue of the youth clings to his palate from thirst. Children ask for bread, but there is no one who offers it to them.
