וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד בֵּֽין־הַמֵּתִ֖ים וּבֵ֣ין הַֽחַיִּ֑ים וַתֵּעָצַ֖ר הַמַּגֵּפָֽה׃
Y se puso entre los muertos y los vivos, y cesó la mortandad.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And Aharon stood in the midst, between the dead and the living with the censer, and interceded in prayer; and the plague was restrained.
