Parashat Nitzavim-Vayeilech: Weekly Torah Portion

Parashat Nitzavim-Vayeilech contains two short but powerful Torah readings. In Nitzavim, Moses gathers all Israel to reaffirm the covenant before entering the Land, warning them of the consequences of forsaking God but promising eventual return and redemption. Vayeilech recounts Moses' last acts: he encourages Joshua as the future leader, instructs the people regarding the reading of the Torah, and warns of Israel’s future difficulties. Through these readings, we explore repentance, free will, leadership, and the enduring relationship between God and Israel.
