די [וְדִ֣י] חֲזַ֗יְתָ פַּרְזְלָא֙ מְעָרַב֙ בַּחֲסַ֣ף טִינָ֔א מִתְעָרְבִ֤ין לֶהֱוֺן֙ בִּזְרַ֣ע אֲנָשָׁ֔א וְלָֽא־לֶהֱוֺ֥ן דָּבְקִ֖ין דְּנָ֣ה עִם־דְּנָ֑ה הֵֽא־כְדִ֣י פַרְזְלָ֔א לָ֥א מִתְעָרַ֖ב עִם־חַסְפָּֽא׃
Et si tu as vu le fer mêlé avec de l’argile boueuse, c’est que ces [deux parties] se mêleront par des alliances humaines, mais sans qu’elles s’attachent solidement l’une à l’autre, pas plus que le fer ne s’amalgame avec l’argile.
