בְּרַ֨ם עִקַּ֤ר שָׁרְשׁ֙וֹהִי֙ בְּאַרְעָ֣א שְׁבֻ֔קוּ וּבֶֽאֱסוּר֙ דִּֽי־פַרְזֶ֣ל וּנְחָ֔שׁ בְּדִתְאָ֖א דִּ֣י בָרָ֑א וּבְטַ֤ל שְׁמַיָּא֙ יִצְטַבַּ֔ע וְעִם־חֵיוְתָ֥א חֲלָקֵ֖הּ בַּעֲשַׂ֥ב אַרְעָֽא׃

Seulement laissez subsister dans le sol la souche de ses racines, entourée de chaînes de fer et d’airain, au milieu de la verdure des champs. Qu’il soit humecté par la rosée du ciel et qu’avec les bêtes il prenne sa part de l’herbe de da terre!
