וַיַּמְרוּ־בִ֗י וְלֹ֤א אָבוּ֙ לִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ אֵלַ֔י אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־שִׁקּוּצֵ֤י עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ לֹ֣א הִשְׁלִ֔יכוּ וְאֶת־גִּלּוּלֵ֥י מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א עָזָ֑בוּ וָאֹמַ֞ר לִשְׁפֹּ֧ךְ חֲמָתִ֣י עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם לְכַלּ֤וֹת אַפִּי֙ בָּהֶ֔ם בְּת֖וֹךְ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Mais ils se sont mutinés contre moi, ils n’ont pas consenti à m’écouter; ils n’ont pas rejeté les abjections dont ils étaient témoins, ils n’ont pas abandonné les idoles de l’Égypte, et je songeais à épancher mon courroux sur eux, à assouvir sur eux ma colère au milieu du pays d’Égypte.
