אַלּוֹנִים֙ מִבָּ֔שָׁן עָשׂ֖וּ מִשּׁוֹטָ֑יִךְ קַרְשֵׁ֤ךְ עָֽשׂוּ־שֵׁן֙ בַּת־אֲשֻׁרִ֔ים מֵאִיֵּ֖י כתים [כִּתִּיִּֽים׃]

Ils ont confectionné tes rames en chêne de Basan; ton gouvernail, ils l’ont fait d’ivoire [enchassé] dans du buis, provenant des îles de Kittim.

In the language of the Mishnah (B. B. 91a) קְבַרְנִיט, and in French gouvernail, rudder.
