וַתִּמְצָ֨א כַקֵּ֤ן ׀ יָדִי֙ לְחֵ֣יל הָֽעַמִּ֔ים וְכֶאֱסֹף֙ בֵּיצִ֣ים עֲזֻב֔וֹת כָּל־הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲנִ֣י אָסָ֑פְתִּי וְלֹ֤א הָיָה֙ נֹדֵ֣ד כָּנָ֔ף וּפֹצֶ֥ה פֶ֖ה וּמְצַפְצֵֽף׃
Ma main s’est abattue sur les richesses des nations comme sur un nid, et, comme on ramasse des œufs abandonnés, j’ai ramassé toute la terre, sans qu’aucune aile eût bougé, sans qu’aucun bec s’ouvrit pour émettre un sifflement."
