תְּשֻׁא֣וֹת ׀ מְלֵאָ֗ה עִ֚יר הֽוֹמִיָּ֔ה קִרְיָ֖ה עַלִּיזָ֑ה חֲלָלַ֙יִךְ֙ לֹ֣א חַלְלֵי־חֶ֔רֶב וְלֹ֖א מֵתֵ֥י מִלְחָמָֽה׃

ô ville pleine de rumeurs, tumultueuse cité, toujours si joyeuse? Tes morts n’ont pas péri par le glaive, n’ont pas succombé dans les combats.
