עַתָּ֤ה נִבְרְאוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א מֵאָ֔ז וְלִפְנֵי־י֖וֹם וְלֹ֣א שְׁמַעְתָּ֑ם פֶּן־תֹּאמַ֖ר הִנֵּ֥ה יְדַעְתִּֽין׃
des faits qui se produisent maintenant, qui n’ont pas existé plus tôt; avant ce jour tu n’en as rien su, tu ne saurais dire: "Je les connaissais!"

E. here explains the words Yea, thou hast not heard, etc., as a repetition of Thou heardest them not of the preceding verse for the sake of The ו introduces the principal sentence, as فَ in Arabic; comp. אברהם ביום השלישי וישא when the third day came, Abraham lifted up (Gen. 22:4)
