וַתְּהִ֨י לָכֶ֜ם חָז֣וּת הַכֹּ֗ל כְּדִבְרֵי֮ הַסֵּ֣פֶר הֶֽחָתוּם֒ אֲשֶֽׁר־יִתְּנ֣וּ אֹת֗וֹ אֶל־יוֹדֵ֥עַ הספר [סֵ֛פֶר] לֵאמֹ֖ר קְרָ֣א נָא־זֶ֑ה וְאָמַר֙ לֹ֣א אוּכַ֔ל כִּ֥י חָת֖וּם הֽוּא׃
Aussi la révélation de tous ces événements est-elle pour vous comme les mots de ce livre scellé, qu’on présente à un homme lettré en lui disant: "Lis donc ceci!" Et lui de répondre: "Je ne puis, car le livre est scellé."
