אֵין־עָיֵ֤ף וְאֵין־כּוֹשֵׁל֙ בּ֔וֹ לֹ֥א יָנ֖וּם וְלֹ֣א יִישָׁ֑ן וְלֹ֤א נִפְתַּח֙ אֵז֣וֹר חֲלָצָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א נִתַּ֖ק שְׂר֥וֹךְ נְעָלָֽיו׃
Dans leurs rangs, personne ne connaît la fatigue ni la faiblesse; nul ne dort ni ne sommeille, ni ne dénoue la ceinture de ses reins, ni ne délace la courroie de ses sandales.

ינום He will slumber; נום signifies a sleep of a less profound kind than ישן. He will not slumber, much less will he sleep.
