וְֽהַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא לַאדֹנָ֧י יְהוִ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת י֤וֹם נְקָמָה֙ לְהִנָּקֵ֣ם מִצָּרָ֔יו וְאָכְלָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ וְשָׂ֣בְעָ֔ה וְרָוְתָ֖ה מִדָּמָ֑ם כִּ֣י זֶ֠בַח לַאדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת בְּאֶ֥רֶץ צָפ֖וֹן אֶל־נְהַר־פְּרָֽת׃
Ce jour appartient au Seigneur, à l’Éternel-Cebaot: c’est un jour de représailles pour tirer vengeance de ses ennemis. Le glaive dévorera à satiété et s’enivrera de leur sang. C’est une hécatombe en l’honneur du Seigneur, Éternel-Cebaot, dans! e pays du Nord, sur les rives de l’Euphrate.
