הַאוֹתִ֨י לֹא־תִירָ֜אוּ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֗ה אִ֤ם מִפָּנַי֙ לֹ֣א תָחִ֔ילוּ אֲשֶׁר־שַׂ֤מְתִּי חוֹל֙ גְּב֣וּל לַיָּ֔ם חָק־עוֹלָ֖ם וְלֹ֣א יַעַבְרֶ֑נְהוּ וַיִּֽתְגָּעֲשׁוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א יוּכָ֔לוּ וְהָמ֥וּ גַלָּ֖יו וְלֹ֥א יַעַבְרֻֽנְהוּ׃
Est-ce bien moi que vous ne vénérez pas, dit l’Éternel, est-ce bien moi devant qui vous refusez de trembler, moi qui ai donné le sable comme limite à la mer, comme une barrière éternelle qu’elle ne peut franchir? Ses flots se soulèvent, impuissants, ils mugissent, mais ne vont pas au delà.
