אֵ֤י לָזֹאת֙ אסלוח־[אֶֽסְלַֽח־] לָ֔ךְ בָּנַ֣יִךְ עֲזָב֔וּנִי וַיִּשָּׁבְע֖וּ בְּלֹ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים וָאַשְׂבִּ֤עַ אוֹתָם֙ וַיִּנְאָ֔פוּ וּבֵ֥ית זוֹנָ֖ה יִתְגֹּדָֽדוּ׃
Pour quelle raison te pardonnerais-je? Tes fils m’abandonnent, ils jurent par des dieux qui n’en sont pas; je les ai comblés de bien et ils trahissent leur foi, ils se rendent en foule aux mauvais lieux.

Shall I forgive you for this? This is the rhetorical question, Shall I forgive you for this? And Menahem (p. 22) explains אי like אין, not. For this I will not forgive you, because your children have forsaken Me, when I sated them with all good.
