אֻמְלְלָ֞ה יֹלֶ֣דֶת הַשִּׁבְעָ֗ה נָפְחָ֥ה נַפְשָׁ֛הּ באה [בָּ֥א] שִׁמְשָׁ֛הּ בְּעֹ֥ד יוֹמָ֖ם בּ֣וֹשָׁה וְחָפֵ֑רָה וּשְׁאֵֽרִיתָ֗ם לַחֶ֧רֶב אֶתֵּ֛ן לִפְנֵ֥י אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ (ס)
Elle est désespérée, la mère qui a donné le jour à sept fils, elle exhale son âme; dans sa déception et sa confusion, elle voit son soleil se coucher quand il fait encore grand jour; et ceux qui survivent parmi eux, je les livre au glaive sous l’œil de leurs ennemis": telle est la déclaration de l’Éternel.
