וּמֶ֤ה ׀ לֹא־תִשָּׂ֣א פִשְׁעִי֮ וְתַעֲבִ֪יר אֶת־עֲוֺ֫נִ֥י כִּֽי־עַ֭תָּה לֶעָפָ֣ר אֶשְׁכָּ֑ב וְשִׁ֖חֲרְתַּ֣נִי וְאֵינֶֽנִּי׃ (פ)

Que ne pardonnes-tu ma faute, que n’effaces-tu mon péché? Bien vite je serais couché dans la poussière: tu me chercherais, et je n’y serais plus.
