דָּבַ֨ק לְשׁ֥וֹן יוֹנֵ֛ק אֶל־חכּ֖וֹ בַּצָּמָ֑א עֽוֹלָלִים֙ שָׁ֣אֲלוּ לֶ֔חֶם פֹּרֵ֖שׂ אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם׃ (ס)

La langue du nourrisson, altéré de soif, s’attache à son palais; les petits enfants demandent du pain: personne ne leur en offre.

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“Cleaved” [4:4]. The tongues of the nursing children cleaved to the palate from thirst. The children desire bread, but nobody responds to them.
