Les Lamentations 5:21 Commentaire : Tze'enah Ure'enah, Ibn Ezra & Rashi

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“Take us back” [5:21]. Make us return to you and we will repent and renew our days as of old.

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“For” [5:22]. For you have shamed us for the sake of our sins and why should you be angry with us forever.

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“Take us back.” We recite this verse two times, waiting to be redeemed with good words.

Rashi

Adonoy return us. Because he concludes with words of reproof, he had to repeat the preceding verse again,14In order to end on a note of consolation. and so did Yeshayahu, Trei Osor, and Koheles.
