Le fils honore son père, l’esclave son maître. Si je suis un père [pour vous], où sont mes honneurs? Si je suis un maître, où est la vénération qui m’est due? Ainsi vous parle l’Éternel-Cebaot, à vous, ô pontifes qui avilissez son nom, et qui dites: "En quoi avons-nous avili ton nom?"
