כִּֽי־רַבּ֤וּ פְשָׁעֵ֙ינוּ֙ נֶגְדֶּ֔ךָ וְחַטֹּאותֵ֖ינוּ עָ֣נְתָה בָּ֑נוּ כִּֽי־פְשָׁעֵ֣ינוּ אִתָּ֔נוּ וַעֲוֺנֹתֵ֖ינוּ יְדַֽעֲנֽוּם׃
C’est que nombreux sont nos méfaits, et nos péchés témoignent contre nous. Oui, nous avons conscience de nos méfaits, et nos fautes, nous les connaissons.
Duties of the Heart
(1) The penitent should confess his sins, and realize their enormity in his eyes and in his heart, as written "For our transgressions against You are many, and our sins have testified against us" (Yeshaya 59:12).
