Tout Israël eut connaissance du jugement que le roi avait rendu, et ils furent saisis de respect pour le roi; car ils comprirent qu’une sagesse divine l’inspirait dans l’exercice de la justice.
Sha'arei Orah
The Song of Obstructions,9Psalm 91 which is founded on this principle, thus states, “He who sits in the refuge of the Most High, dwells in the shade of the Almighty. I will say of HaShem-יהו"ה, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in whom I trust. For He will deliver you from the ensnaring trap, from devastating pestilence. He will cover you with His pinion and you will be protected under His wings; His truth is shield and armor. You shall not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that walks in gloom, nor the destroyer who lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall victim at your side and a myriad at your right hand, but it shall not reach you. You will only glance with your eyes and behold the retribution of the wicked etc.”10This Psalm and the various legions of destructive forces described by each of the terms in this Psalm are elucidated at greater length in Derech Chayim of Rabbi DovBer of Lubavitch, the Mittler Rebbe, translated as The Path of Life.
Sefer HaBahir
[He continued,] "And further, since there is no judgment if there is no wisdom, as indeed, it is said, 'YHVH gave wisdom to Solomon' (1 Kings 5:26), and afterwards he judged his judgment by his measure. As it is said, 'When all Israel heard the decision that the king had rendered, they stood in awe of the king; for they saw that he possessed divine wisdom to execute justice' (1 Kings 3:28)."*

Sefer HaBahir
[He continued,] "And what wisdom did the Blessed Holy One give to Solomon? Solomon carried the name of the Blessed Holy One, as we have said that every 'Solomon' that is said in Song of Songs it he Holy One except one (BT Shevuot 35b). The Blessed Holy One said, 'Since your name is like the name of My glory, I will marry my daughter to you. But she is married! Say that as a gift, He gave her to him, as is written, 'YHVH gave wisdom to Solomon (1 Kings 5:26) — but it was not given. When was it given? Further on, as is said, 'For they saw the wisdom of Elohim within him to execute justice' (1 Kings 3:28). Therefore, say that the wisdom that Elohim gave to him — and that was with him in his rooms — was in him to execute justice. What is 'to execute justice'? [It teaches us] that the wisdom of Elohim is within a person, every time he executes justice. This is the one that helps him and brings him close. And if not, it sends him away. And further, it disciplines him, as is written 'I will discipline you; I am anger' (Leviticus 26:28).*
