מִי־זֶ֣ה ׀ בָּ֣א מֵאֱד֗וֹם חֲמ֤וּץ בְּגָדִים֙ מִבָּצְרָ֔ה זֶ֚ה הָד֣וּר בִּלְבוּשׁ֔וֹ צֹעֶ֖ה בְּרֹ֣ב כֹּח֑וֹ אֲנִ֛י מְדַבֵּ֥ר בִּצְדָקָ֖ה רַ֥ב לְהוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃
Quel est celui qui vient d’Edom, qui arrive de Boçra, les vêtements teints de rouge? Qu’il est magnifique dans son costume et s’avance fièrement dans l’éclat de sa force! C’est moi, qui parle le langage de la justice et suis puissant pour sauver.

The prophet sees God in an allegorical sense as a Bloodied Warrior Who takes revenge on the imprisoner, torturer, and murderer of the Jewish People, as part of the final redemption. and executed traitors— the splashing of their lifeblood having reddened His garments. With His great power, He will diminish the [haughty] spirit of princes— “Afflicting them with His harsh wind on the day of the East Wind.”28Isaiah 27:8.
