Ézéchiel 18:18 Midrash : Ein Yaakov (Glick Edition)

אָבִ֞יו כִּֽי־עָ֣שַׁק עֹ֗שֶׁק גָּזַל֙ גֵּ֣זֶל אָ֔ח וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־ט֛וֹב עָשָׂ֖ה בְּת֣וֹךְ עַמָּ֑יו וְהִנֵּה־מֵ֖ת בַּעֲוֺנֽוֹ׃

Quant à son père, qui a exercé des actes d’oppression, qui a volé son frère, et n’a pas bien agi au milieu de son peuple, voici qu’il meurt pour sa faute.

(Ez. 18, 18) And did that which is not good in the midst of his people; Rab said: "This refers to one who comes to court with power of attorney," and according to Samuel, it refers to one who buys a field on which there are several claims.
