Et à Sara il dit: "Voici, j’ai donné mille pièces d’argent à ton parent: certes! il est pour toi comme un voile contre quiconque t’approcherait; tous, tu peux les regarder en face."

Bahya writes. Abimelech said: since I have given your brother, Abraham, much money, all the people will say that I had to placate him. Thus, it was shown that Abimelech feared God and certainly did not touch Sarah. Abimelech had previously hated Abraham and now he gives Abraham much money. This must be a miracle from God.
