כִּ֣י אָנֹכִ֤י כַשַּׁ֙חַל֙ לְאֶפְרַ֔יִם וְכַכְּפִ֖יר לְבֵ֣ית יְהוּדָ֑ה אֲנִ֨י אֲנִ֤י אֶטְרֹף֙ וְאֵלֵ֔ךְ אֶשָּׂ֖א וְאֵ֥ין מַצִּֽיל׃
Car moi, je suis comme un chacal pour Ephraïm et comme un lion pour la maison de Juda; moi, oui moi, je mets en pièces et me retire, j’emporte [la proie], et personne ne peut me l’arracher.
