וַיֹּ֗אמֶר רָאִ֤יתִי אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נְפֹצִ֣ים אֶל־הֶהָרִ֔ים כַּצֹּ֕אן אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵין־לָהֶ֖ם רֹעֶ֑ה וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ לֹֽא־אֲדֹנִ֣ים לָאֵ֔לֶּה יָשׁ֥וּבוּ אִישׁ־לְבֵית֖וֹ בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃
Il répondit: "J’ai vu tout Israël dispersé sur les montagnes, comme un troupeau sans pasteur; et l’Éternel disait: Plus de chefs pour les diriger; qu’ils retournent, chacun chez soi, en paix!"
II Chronicles
And he said: I saw all of Israel spread out on the mountains like sheep without a shepherd. And the L rd said: These have no master [i.e., you alone will die in the war (viz. 30)], (and) each man will return to his house in peace.
