וְלֹ֖א שָׁמֵ֑עוּ וַיַּתְעֵ֤ם מְנַשֶּׁה֙ לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת אֶת־הָרָ֔ע מִן־הַ֨גּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ הִשְׁמִ֣יד יְהוָ֔ה מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Mais ils désobéirent; Manassé les induisit à agir plus mal que les peuples exterminés par l’Éternel au profit des enfants d’Israël.

And Menasheh turned Judah and the dwellers of Jerusalem astray to do evil [even more] than the nations that the L rd had destroyed before the children of Israel.
