וַיַּגֵּ֨ד יַעֲקֹ֜ב לְרָחֵ֗ל כִּ֣י אֲחִ֤י אָבִ֙יהָ֙ ה֔וּא וְכִ֥י בֶן־רִבְקָ֖ה ה֑וּא וַתָּ֖רָץ וַתַּגֵּ֥ד לְאָבִֽיהָ׃
Et Jacob apprit à Rachel qu’il était parent de son père, qu’il était le fils de Rébecca. Elle courut l’annoncer à son père.

What was the modesty displayed by Rachel? — As it is written: “And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father’s brother” (Genesis 29:12). Now was he her father’s brother? Was he not the son of her father’s sister?
