Tu dérobes ta face, ils sont dans l’épouvante; tu leur retires le souffle, ils expirent et retombent dans leur poussière.

How is it understood that this verse speaks of the day of death? Rabbah b. Rab Shela answered : From the continuation ; as it is written, "Thou hidest Thy face, they vanish ; Thou withdrawest their breath, they perish, and return to the dust" (ibid. v. 29).
