Daniel
The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings [(the kingdom of Bavel [viz. Jeremiah 4:7 and 48:10])]. I beheld until its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up [i.e., removed] from the earth, and made to stand upon two feet like a [puny] man, and a man's [puny] heart was given to it.
