בִּקֵּ֣שׁ קֹהֶ֔לֶת לִמְצֹ֖א דִּבְרֵי־חֵ֑פֶץ וְכָת֥וּב יֹ֖שֶׁר דִּבְרֵ֥י אֱמֶֽת׃

Kohélet s’appliqua à trouver des dictons de prix, des choses écrites avec droiture, des paroles de vérité.

Esther

And the remainder of the Jews, which were in the king's provinces, congregated and stood up for their lives, and gained respite of their foes, and killed of their enemies seventy-five thousand, and they did not stretch forth their hands to the spoils,

And more than they [("righteous writ” 12:10)], my son, take heed [to heed the words of the sages. And if you ask: If there is need of them, why were they not written down?] In the making of books there is no end [and if we began, we could never finish.]; and overmuch thought [i.e., attempts to digest more than we can understand] is a weariness of the flesh.
