כִּֽי־תֵצֵ֨א לַמִּלְחָמָ֜ה עַל־אֹיְבֶ֗יךָ וְֽרָאִ֜יתָ ס֤וּס וָרֶ֙כֶב֙ עַ֚ם רַ֣ב מִמְּךָ֔ לֹ֥א תִירָ֖א מֵהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ הַמַּֽעַלְךָ֖ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
"Quand tu t’avanceras contre tes ennemis pour leur livrer bataille, et que tu verras cavalerie et chariots de guerre, une armée supérieure à la tienne, n’en sois pas effrayé; car tu as avec toi l’Éternel, ton Dieu, qui t’a fait sortir du pays d’Égypte.

He told you His covenant, which He commanded you to fulfill—the ten statements—and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.
Exodus
I will set your borders from the Reed Sea to the Philistine Sea, and from the desert to the [Euphrates] river, for I will deliver into your hands all the inhabitants of the land, and you will drive them away before you.
