פֶּן־יֹאמְר֗וּ הָאָרֶץ֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הוֹצֵאתָ֣נוּ מִשָּׁם֒ מִבְּלִי֙ יְכֹ֣לֶת יְהוָ֔ה לַהֲבִיאָ֕ם אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם וּמִשִּׂנְאָת֣וֹ אוֹתָ֔ם הוֹצִיאָ֖ם לַהֲמִתָ֥ם בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃
de peur qu’on ne dise, dans ce pays d’où tu nous as fait sortir: "C’est que l’Éternel n’avait pas le pouvoir de les introduire dans le pays qu’il leur avait promis; ou bien, par haine pour eux, il les a fait sortir d’ici pour les immoler dans le désert."
