וְאִם־בְּחֻקֹּתַ֣י תִּמְאָ֔סוּ וְאִ֥ם אֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י תִּגְעַ֣ל נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם לְבִלְתִּ֤י עֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־כָּל־מִצְוֺתַ֔י לְהַפְרְכֶ֖ם אֶת־בְּרִיתִֽי׃
si vous dédaignez mes lois et que votre esprit repousse mes institutions, au point de ne plus observer mes préceptes, de rompre mon alliance,
Leviticus
The land, being bereft of them, will be appeased for its Shabbosos, during the time of its desolation from them and their iniquities will then be appeased (forgiven) since what certainly caused [this] is that they despised My laws and their soul loathed (rejected) My statutes.
