כִּֽי־תִקְרַ֣ב אֶל־עִ֔יר לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם עָלֶ֑יהָ וְקָרָ֥אתָ אֵלֶ֖יהָ לְשָׁלֽוֹם׃
Quand tu marcheras sur une ville pour l’attaquer, tu l’inviteras d’abord à la paix.

When you come nigh to a city to make war against it, then you shall send to it certain to invite it to peace;
