Targoum sur L’Ecclésiaste 2:21
כִּי־יֵ֣שׁ אָדָ֗ם שֶׁעֲמָל֛וֹ בְּחָכְמָ֥ה וּבְדַ֖עַת וּבְכִשְׁר֑וֹן וּלְאָדָ֞ם שֶׁלֹּ֤א עָֽמַל־בּוֹ֙ יִתְּנֶ֣נּוּ חֶלְק֔וֹ גַּם־זֶ֥ה הֶ֖בֶל וְרָעָ֥ה רַבָּֽה׃
Car voilà un homme qui a travaillé avec sagesse, réflexion et succès, et il doit tout laisser en propriété à quelqu’un qui ne s’est donné aucun mal! Cela aussi est vanité et souverainement mauvais.
Aramaic Targum to Ecclesiastes
Because there is a man whose labour is in wisdom, reason, and justice, and he dies without issue; and to a man who did not labour for it, he is to give it, that it may be his portion; also this is vanity, and a great evil.
