Targoum sur L’Exode 13:14
וְהָיָ֞ה כִּֽי־יִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ בִנְךָ֛ מָחָ֖ר לֵאמֹ֣ר מַה־זֹּ֑את וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֵלָ֔יו בְּחֹ֣זֶק יָ֗ד הוֹצִיאָ֧נוּ יְהוָ֛ה מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם מִבֵּ֥ית עֲבָדִֽים׃
Et lorsque ton fils, un jour, te questionnera en disant: "Qu’est-ce que cela?" tu lui répondras: "D’une main toute puissante, l’Éternel nous a fait sortir d’Égypte, d’une maison d’esclavage.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
And when in future thy son shall ask thee, saying, What is this ordinance of the firstborn? thou shalt tell him: By the power of a mighty hand the Lord delivered us from Mizraim, redeeming us from the house of the servitude of slaves.
