Targoum sur La Genèse 31:48
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָבָ֔ן הַגַּ֨ל הַזֶּ֥ה עֵ֛ד בֵּינִ֥י וּבֵינְךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם עַל־כֵּ֥ן קָרָֽא־שְׁמ֖וֹ גַּלְעֵֽד׃
Laban avait dit: "Ce monceau est un témoin entre nous deux dès aujourd’hui." De là on énonça son nom Galed;
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
And Laban said, This mound is a witness between me and you today; therefore it was called, Gal-ed;>>
