לָכֵ֗ן כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר לֹ֤א יָבוֹא֙ אֶל־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את וְלֹֽא־יוֹרֶ֥ה שָׁ֖ם חֵ֑ץ וְלֹֽא־יְקַדְּמֶ֣נָּה מָגֵ֔ן וְלֹֽא־יִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְ עֳלֶ֖יהָ סֹלְלָֽה׃
Aussi l’Éternel a-t-il fait cette déclaration au sujet du roi d’Assyrie: Il ne pénétrera pas dans cette ville, n’y lancera aucune flèche, ne lui opposera pas un seul bouclier, et n’établira pas de redoute contre elle.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor shall be cast up a mound against it.
