יְהוָ֖ה בַּצַּ֣ר פְּקָד֑וּךָ צָק֣וּן לַ֔חַשׁ מוּסָרְךָ֖ לָֽמוֹ׃
Éternel, dans la détresse ils pensaient à toi et se répandaient en prières silencieuses, quand ton châtiment les atteignait.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
O Lord, in distress they remembered thy fear; in their trouble they were ardently learning the doctrine of thy law.
