Targoum sur Isaïe 28:2
הִנֵּ֨ה חָזָ֤ק וְאַמִּץ֙ לַֽאדֹנָ֔י כְּזֶ֥רֶם בָּרָ֖ד שַׂ֣עַר קָ֑טֶב כְּ֠זֶרֶם מַ֣יִם כַּבִּירִ֥ים שֹׁטְפִ֛ים הִנִּ֥יחַ לָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיָֽד׃
Voici venir, violent et impétueux, lancé par l’Éternel comme l’irruption de la grêle, un ouragan meurtrier; comme l’irruption de grandes eaux qui submergent tout, il le fait peser sur le sol avec puissance.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Behold, plagues, strong and mighty, are coming from the Lord: like a storm of hail, like a whirlwind, like a storm of mighty waters, overflowing, thus the nations shall come upon them, and shall lead them into captivity to another land on account of the sins which are in their hands.
