Targoum sur Isaïe 28:27
כִּ֣י לֹ֤א בֶֽחָרוּץ֙ י֣וּדַשׁ קֶ֔צַח וְאוֹפַ֣ן עֲגָלָ֔ה עַל־כַּמֹּ֖ן יוּסָּ֑ב כִּ֧י בַמַּטֶּ֛ה יֵחָ֥בֶט קֶ֖צַח וְכַמֹּ֥ן בַּשָּֽׁבֶט׃
De même ce n’est pas avec le rouleau tranchant que la vesce est battue, ce n’est pas la roue du chariot qu’on fait passer sur le cumin: la vesce est battue avec le bâton et le cumin avec la verge.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
For they do not tread out the fitches with an iron threshing instrument, nor do they turn the wheels of a cart upon the cumin; but they beat out the fitches with a staff, and the cumin with a rod.
