Targoum sur Isaïe 30:28
וְרוּח֞וֹ כְּנַ֤חַל שׁוֹטֵף֙ עַד־צַוָּ֣אר יֶֽחֱצֶ֔ה לַהֲנָפָ֥ה גוֹיִ֖ם בְּנָ֣פַת שָׁ֑וְא וְרֶ֣סֶן מַתְעֶ֔ה עַ֖ל לְחָיֵ֥י עַמִּֽים׃
son souffle comme un torrent impétueux qui monte jusqu’au cou: il va secouer les peuples dans le van de la destruction et poser entre les mâchoires des peuples un frein qui les dirige de travers.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And His word is as an overwhelming river reaching unto the neck: He shall slay the mighty; He will assuredly agitate the nations with the agitation of vanity: and there shall be a bridle of error in the jaws of the people.
