Targoum sur Isaïe 41:7
וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק חָרָשׁ֙ אֶת־צֹרֵ֔ף מַחֲלִ֥יק פַּטִּ֖ישׁ אֶת־ה֣וֹלֶם פָּ֑עַם אֹמֵ֤ר לַדֶּ֙בֶק֙ ט֣וֹב ה֔וּא וַיְחַזְּקֵ֥הוּ בְמַסְמְרִ֖ים לֹ֥א יִמּֽוֹט׃ (ס)
Le sculpteur encourage l’orfèvre, celui qui polit au marteau réconforte l’ouvrier qui frappe l’enclume et dit de la soudure: "C’est bien!" Puis on consolide [l’idole] avec des clous, pour qu’elle ne branle pas.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Shall they not be confounded in their works? Because the artificer encourageth the silversmith, and he that smiteth with the great hammer him that smiteth with the small: It is time, one saith, for the soldering, it is ready; he fasteneth it with nails, that it may not be moved.
