Targoum sur Isaïe 42:22
וְהוּא֮ עַם־בָּז֣וּז וְשָׁסוּי֒ הָפֵ֤חַ בַּֽחוּרִים֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם וּבְבָתֵּ֥י כְלָאִ֖ים הָחְבָּ֑אוּ הָי֤וּ לָבַז֙ וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּ֔יל מְשִׁסָּ֖ה וְאֵין־אֹמֵ֥ר הָשַֽׁב׃
Et pourtant Israël est un peuple pillé et dépouillé: tous, on les a confinés dans des fosses et relégués dans des cachots; on les a spoliés et nul ne les a protégés, on a fait main basse et nul n’a dit: "Rendez gorge!"
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
But this is a people robbed, and spoiled, and all their young men are covered with confusion, and shut up in prison-houses: they are for a prey, and there is none who delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
