כֹּֽה־אָמַ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה גֹּאַלְכֶ֖ם קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְמַעַנְכֶ֞ם שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי בָבֶ֗לָה וְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤י בָֽרִיחִים֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם וְכַשְׂדִּ֖ים בָּאֳנִיּ֥וֹת רִנָּתָֽם׃
Ainsi parle l’Éternel, votre libérateur, le Saint d’Israël: "En votre faveur, j’ai envoyé [un mandataire] à Babylone. Je les ai jetés bas, tous ont recours à la fuite, les Chaldéens gagnent les vaisseaux qu’ils prônaient.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Thus saith the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, Because of your sins I led you captive to Babylon; but I will prostrate all of them with their oars, yea, the Chaldeans in the ships of which they boast.
