Targoum sur Isaïe 51:3
כִּֽי־נִחַ֨ם יְהוָ֜ה צִיּ֗וֹן נִחַם֙ כָּל־חָרְבֹתֶ֔יהָ וַיָּ֤שֶׂם מִדְבָּרָהּ֙ כְּעֵ֔דֶן וְעַרְבָתָ֖הּ כְּגַן־יְהוָ֑ה שָׂשׂ֤וֹן וְשִׂמְחָה֙ יִמָּ֣צֵא בָ֔הּ תּוֹדָ֖ה וְק֥וֹל זִמְרָֽה׃ (ס)
Ainsi l’Éternel a consolé Sion, a consolé toutes ses ruines; il a transformé son désert en Eden, sa solitude en jardin divin. Dans son sein régneront la joie et l’allégresse, les actions de grâces et la voix des cantiques.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places, and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, they that offer thanksgiving, and the voice of them that praise.
